Colors of Friendship
I received The Colors of Friendship award from Amrita. She says this of her nominees:
"They color my life with the beautiful hues of friendship. Although we come from different backgrounds and cultures we share the same spirit of friendship."
I couldn't have said it better. We are a spectrum of color, diverse in our customs and upbringings, but we are human with the same feelings. We are all united in some way and not so different if you think about how we love our families...we feel the same things. The Internet has brought people closer together somehow...the world doesn't seem so huge and untouchable.
Thank you so much, Amrita. :)
There aren't any rules as to how many people can be nominated for this award that I can see. I would like to pass on this award to:
Hillgrandmom of Life on a Hill
Mrs Grumpy of I Promise Not to Laugh During the Seance'
Beth of BooksETC
Kila of Mom to 3 Cubs
G of Simply Said
Sara of Reasons to be Cheerful
Jennifer of A Work in Process
Breazy of A Breazy Life
Karma of JewBu Quest

Hillgrandmom-You're welcome. :) You deserve this award, too.
Shari, thanks so much for making my day. I am so glad to have met you. Oh, and I love the Packers over Vikings graphic. You are truly a wonderful example of humanity. I admire your spirit and your strength.
MrsGrumpy-Thanks. I got the Packer graphi from another blog. I thought that was cute.
You deserve the award and the others that you've gotten, too. Let me know if you ever go to Wisconsin. :)
Thank you! It's a beautiful award. I'm honored.
I do consider you a friend. It would be funny if we saw each other around town sometime!
Thank you!!! I appreciate the recognition.
What a Lovely Lovely idea...! I feel too, that the Internet and Blogging---that's all I do----has brought me to so many county's meeting people I would never had met and seeing that we are all really more alike than not. It is our humanness that unites us all. It doesn't matter our color or race or lamguage barrier....(I thik it is fanyastic that so very many people speak English even though that is not their 'native tongue'.
If I have learnec anything from Blogging it is how similar we all really are, and that "friendship" comes in all sizes, shapes, colors, languages, etc.....Bless All My Blogger Friends, Everywhere!
Thank you so much Shari! Sorry I haven't been by but things are getting pretty crazy around here. We have a lot to get done before my surgery because I won't be able to do much once I have it. Talk to you soon!
